Conquering Your Goals

How Badly Do You Want To Accomplish Your Goals?

When you have a vision, it is your goals that provide direction, motivation, and the framework to take action necessary to achieve them. Identifying your company’s core values is a fundamental step on the road to creating achievable goals because once you define your values, you have the answer to a very important question: “Why do I do what I do?”

The next step is to identify what purpose your goal serves as it relates to your core values.

Visualization is a great way to determine this and to put energy behind your ideas to help them come to life. To do this, you might set up a vision board in your office posted with images, ideas, and steps to communicate, focus and encourage creative thinking.
Your long-term goal is aligned with your company’s mission and purpose and sets the course for your ‘big picture’ vision. (This typically involves growth in four major areas of your company: service, social profit, and growth.)

Short-term goals, on the other hand, are actionable items, and setting them requires specificity, a timeframe, and a strategy for measuring how they get you closer to your overall, long-term goal.

The following questions can help you get clear on your short-term goals:

-Specificity - What is your specific goal?
-Measurability - How do you measure your progress toward your long-term goal?
-Achievability - What you will gain by achieving the goal?
-Relevance - What does achieving goal mean for your business?
-Timeliness - What is the timeframe is for achieving the goal?

With your goals in mind, the next step is putting a plan in place to achieve them.

My Name Is Sierra Collins And I Am Eager To Help You Make Your Goals Real!

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

After 10 years of experience in public education as a teacher, leader, and lifelong learner, my work is still fulfilling but I am always reflecting on how I can have a greater and more positive impact on the lives of others. When I was given the opportunity to experience training from the one and only John Maxwell, the number one leadership and management expert in the world, I knew this was the perfect way to expand my influence. After earning a John Maxwell certification in leadership speaking, training, and coaching and joining the John Maxwell Team, everything else started falling into place.

Anyone who has influence on others is a leader. So now that you know that you, too, are a leader, let me define learnership. I coined the term “learnership” to describe the need for leaders to participate in continuous development as a lifelong learner. Sierra Learnership Collaborative brings to life my belief that effective leadership skills and lifelong learning are critical to one’s success. Growth, leading, and learning are collaborative processes. Whether working with you individually, as a small group, or as an organization, together we will collaborate to achieve your goals.

So, what does Sierra Learnership Collaborative do? We provide exceptional leadership speaking, training, and coaching services to youth AND adult learners who strive to experience lifelong personal and professional growth. Today's youth must be given the opportunity to develop leadership skills early in life and given the tools necessary to make personal growth a priority. Also, today's leaders must see the need for continued personal growth and professional learning. So, whether you are a parent looking for an innovative approach to your child’s development in leadership, teamwork, communication, or organization OR a business leader looking for the motivation you need to achieve your definition of success, I will create a plan to meet your specific needs.
